Recipe for 1 batch: In a large kettle, brown 1 - 1/2# hamburger; drain and return to kettle. Add 8 cups water, 1 1/2 cups of soup mix, one 15 oz. can of diced tomatoes (undrained), 1 cup ketchup, 1 tablespoon yellow mustard and 1/3 finely diced dill pickle. Stir and simmer for 45 - 60 minutes. Optional: for a richer cheese flavor, add 1 cup cubed Velveeta during cooking OR garnish with shredded cheddar cheese. May also crockpot on LOW 6 - 7 hours.
